Lajward — The Color of Lapis Lazuli
Description
Royal Blue Satin Kurta Set
Lajward — lapis lazuli — is the blue of Mughal tilework, of ink pressed into manuscripts, of a sky seen through a jali screen at midday. This kurta set carries that blue in silky satin: deep, clear, and completely certain of itself. The silver-cut lace at the borders is architectural rather than decorative — the kind of trim that makes a hemline look finished. The fabric falls with natural weight. It is the entry point of this collection and carries itself like anything but.
The Dupatta
A net dupatta in off-white and light grey with self-embroidery throughout, carrying a soft gold undertone that bridges the silver of the lace and the warmth of skin. Net dupattas move with breath, not just movement — and this one was chosen because it never competes.
